I went to Canada once. I wouldn't go back there if you gave me the jet plane I got there in.
Yes I recall the yarn you once wrote about your experience at the hands Customs officials when you tried to enter this sovereign nation. I am sure though they had their own good reasons to heap bureaucratic and officious persecution on you and your party. Not unlike the welcome many of us, unenfranchised stakeholders, receive when we enter your brightly spangled republic.
Not to worry though, if I had my way I would make certain that certain active posters in this forum would require entry visas to visit this country. In that way we can ensure that good bilateral relations are maintained at all levels.
I had a Canadian friend who worked at a border crossing near Gananoque. He said the number of hand-guns and assorted firearms he confiscated from disappointed Yanks attempting to enter the country was staggering. Presumably, they felt that the mean streets of rural Ontario were not safe to traverse unless you were armed to the teeth.

“WASHINGTON — Vice President Mike Pence signaled support on Saturday for a futile Republican bid to overturn the election in Congress next week, after 11 Republican senators and senators-elect said that they would vote to reject President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory when the House and Senate meet to formally certify it.”

Citizens vs. Subjects.

Actually, the people having the guns taken off them were American citizens. The Canadian citizens had decided in their free and fair elections, something you claim not to have in the US, that they felt safer if all the yanks were disarmed.

@rainman Actually it's a Trotskyist.
Once you have that down we can work on a what a Groucho Marxist might be.
Let's not be picking on Canada here. Most of my relatives are there.

Pence signed on:
In defense of my thread title, he signed on to the senators trying. There was an effort to get him to try to overturn our democratic results unilaterally which he is still not on board with.

Because it won't change the outcome of certifying Biden's landslide electoral college win.
It will if its found that this so called "landslide" was the result of voter fraud.
You'd think that if he actually won more votes than Obama it would have also shown up in the down ballot races too, but it didn't. The house democrats lost a bunch of seats. Oh well, I guess it's normal for those "after 3am mail in ballots" got counted none of them voted down ballot.... yeah, that's it. Let's believe that. And let's laugh at anyone who dares question it.
All hail.
Amen... and Awoman...
-
We don’t laugh at you for questioning it, rather for ignoring the obvious answer that’s been explained here many times.
As I said to Jolly you don’t even need to travel beyond TNCR to see that plenty of long standing conservatives can’t get themselves to vote for the guy.

Not enough to make much difference. Look at the percentage of GOP votes he received.

The "obvious answer" you speak of is bull shit. And I don't count never Trumper RINO s as "long standing conservatives".

And I don't count never Trumper RINO s as "long standing conservatives".It doesn’t matter if you don’t consider them conservative, all that matters is that they vote split ticket.
Like I did, by the way.
I’ll bet a number of people here did.

Yup. There is nothing worse than people thinking that only one party is the solution to every problem there is in a country. That kind of “blind faith” will end badly.
“OMG, if only the (insert party name here) controlled everything, life would be so much better. We would all run through fields alongside unicorns and someone would throw rose petals on our heads.”
The best for the US is when things are split in the power. Maybe not as much gets done, but what does get done is more towards the center than any extreme.

Plus, how would 'Trump underperformed down ballot republicans' even conceivably be evidence of fraud?
Like the fraudsters could figure out how to get ballots that were properly printed and coded, sneak them into hundreds of different polling locations, slip them into the counters without anyone noticing, cover all their tracks, etc.... but filling in those two extra bubbles for the House and Senate candidates was just too complicated?
I don't get it.
