Other than this den of inequity in most political discussions I'm typically arguing against the current illiberal-lefty political zeitgeist. To be honest I don't quite understand what you're saying but I think we would agree that rubbishing the large numbers of people who voted for popularist movements like Trump/Brexit is a terrible mistake. That the causes that underlie these movements run deep and are meaningful, and that weaponised cultural superiority is a very dangerous force.

He said the number of hand-guns and assorted firearms he confiscated from disappointed Yanks attempting to enter the country was staggering. Presumably, they felt that the mean streets of rural Ontario were not safe to traverse unless you were armed to the teeth.
