Here it's Instant Pot braised lamb shanks with red wine and rosemary. To be served over Reames' noodles, a simple gree salad and copious amounts of red wine to drink.

I did root around in the freezer and found a pork roast to smoke for tomorrow's supper.

Opened a 1999 Soquel Santa Cruz Cabernet from my adopted dad’s cellar. My adopted mom gave it to me when we were there last week.
It was glorious, perfect with the dinner and made me feel close to him, though he’s been gone 15 years this month.
I think I have something in my eye.

Been a long day here. Neither Mrs. George nor I were particularly hungry, so....
I cooked some simple pasta, and put a half a can of Skyline chili over it. Topped with some shredded cheddar.
Ahhh....

Salmon in the oven. A baked eggplant drizzled with some tahini sauce
Fresh baked bread and a well chilled local Sauvignon blanc.
Very satisfying.
