It's Friday night - what's for dinner?

Opened a 1999 Soquel Santa Cruz Cabernet from my adopted dadβs cellar. My adopted mom gave it to me when we were there last week.
It was glorious, perfect with the dinner and made me feel close to him, though heβs been gone 15 years this month.
I think I have something in my eye.

Salmon in the oven. A baked eggplant drizzled with some tahini sauce
Fresh baked bread and a well chilled local Sauvignon blanc.
Very satisfying.
