BTW, Ronna McDaniel (RNC Chair) is giving her first interview since coming down with COVID. She got it from a family member.

That's how a lot of people get it.

Which is why we're keeping our distance from family members who swear up and down they're staying safe while they continue to work in bars, unmasked, and event arenas, unmasked. If that's living in fear I don't give a shit, find someone else to browbeat because I'm not changing my decision.

Sounds to me like your browbeating yourself...

        2 Timothy 1:7
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Be prudent, but do not let COVID make you live your life in fear.

I'm not. What do you see to indicate people are living in fear of COVID? I realize I live in a rural small town, so that skews what I will see locally. What are you seeing where you live, Jolly?

I'm pretty rural, too. But just seeing how some people act around here, seeing what CNN blasts out everyday, seeing how many people thought the end times occurred when Trump waved off of a balcony, seeing some of the things even written on this board...Well, it seems that some people are scared spitless.

That's no way to live life. The fact is that a person can only mitigate exposure to corona. You cannot escape it. Chances are very good, without a vaccine, you're going to get it.

So life your life. Be prudent, but do not live in fear.

Meh. We had a friend over for dinner tonight that we know has been very careful. Her boyfriend in PA has a son who just showed up with a fever, so she is not going there this weekend.

You do what you reasonably can to minimize risk, but there is no way to eliminate it other than totally isolating.

I do know people who haven't been into a store in over 6 months. I also know people who've been to weddings and caught Covid (thankfully it was mild)

My biggest problem is forgetting to do stuff - like forgetting to put a mask on, or leaving it in the house. I've got used to it. We were all really worried back in March, but now apart from the fact that we don't go to restaurants and I work from home, it's pretty much normal. I have no choice where I work, so it's really out of my hands. The office let's the lab staff work, and a skeleton crew of management, but everybody else has to stay home.

Cautious isn't the same as scared.

                  I was only joking

So technically it’s not HIPAA., but the privacy concerns are the same and very real. Employers and coworkers should try to respect an employee’s privacy where possible, or do you disagree?
