Due to Hope Hicks. Same with Melania.

Ugh, that was his chance to blame Biden or Wallace.

Best wishes for the Trumps and Ms. Hicks.
Hope they all come out of this alright. -

Both the President and First Lady have tested positive for Covid. Just announced.

Dear God,
Please give us a break.
And by "us" I mean the whole planet.
Are you in a bad mood or something?
Something we did?
Something we didn't do?
Something we should have done?
Or maybe, you're just getting tired of us.
I know I'm getting tired of us.
Anyway, have a nice eternity and all that. -

@Klaus the whole damn (American) forum is fast asleep and will wake up to the news
That explains the quiet here I guess, because the whole rest of the world is talking non stop about it

Indeed. Wake up, America! Your attention is needed. For once, we should talk about the neglected topic of Trump and the election!

Figured he would be positive. Heard him interviewed by Hannity last night.

Melania too. But she’s under 50 and not obese.
At least he has the best care. He’ll almost certainly be fine.

Waiting for the "somebody tweeted something nasty about a possible Trump death (or some other Schadenfreude) and hence all liberals are despicable" post...

Plenty of the "Yippee!" type tweets out there, if you're in to that kind of thing.
Hell, Tom Arnold even posted Hope Hicks cell phone nunber...

My favorite so far is ‘my thoughts and prayers are with the virus’.
But on to more serious topics, how do you think it effects the race?

Dunno. Uncharted territory.

For sure.
On the plus side for him, there will be some sympathy for him and disdain for the more egregious premature grave dancing that will no doubt be common on parts of the left.
On the other hand, it brings the topic of conversation back to the virus and off of law and order, which is not good for him.
On the plus side for the American people, it decreases the odds that the 10/15 debate will be held.

The one I liked best: "I like presidents who don't get COVID".

And forget the election
How about the market crash?

When Bo-Jo got Covid, I seem to think his popularity increased significantly for a while, particularly as it was touch-and-go for a bit.
