Not to mention Islam above a certain percentage becomes a threat to western civilization and small-l liberal values. Latinos not so much.

The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

I always found it funny that folks from such a hot place migrated to such a cold place. FYI the main "hub" (similar to Little Italy, China Town, etc...) is the Somali group you see here:

If they remove all those Somalis who's going to be left to vote for Ilhan Omar?

The problem isn’t the undocumented Somalis, it’s the ones documented and registered to vote in Ilhan and whasserface in the Senate that is the problem. They move into one small congressional district and suddenly one extremely small outlier migrant group wields outsized political power in a divided nation.

And while a lot of these far right groups can be bigoted and irrationally xenophobic, their point about there being some cultures that can’t truly be folded into our American tapestry is not without some merit.

A two or three year investigation under the previous administration that resulted in what, exactly? Objectively less than what this youtube independent journalist's story will result in.

I think 65 convictions so far but it’s ongoing. It didn’t stop and restart.

Every administration claims credit for what was begun under past ones. It's a shame, but it is what we've come to accept, like so many other things we should not countenance.

Not enough to stop ongoing fraud obvious enough to be uncovered by a random youtube independent journalist.

As far as I know, you're both right. The 2022 stuff was for the Feeing Our Future scandal, whereas this is more daycare and other health/care related fraud. BTW my DOJ friend (who resigned somewhat out of protest earlier this year) was the one leading the press releases for the Feeding Our Future scandal... we were out to dinner one night in downtown Minneapolis and he was hinting that he was in town for a major fraud bust, which it was (and still is).
