Apparently there were about 1000 flights canceled today.

Wonder how they pick and choose? I know they said earlier flights are less likely to be canceled, but of course the later flights are subject to the ripple effects if the source aircraft doesn't arrive.

BTW one of these days our DCA travel might overlap. My next trip is likely week of January 6th (heh)

I saw a bunch of people on Facebook blaming the UPS crash in Kentucky on the lack of controllers or Trump or something, which seemed a bit silly to me.
