I have my home gym in the attic above the garage. It's a bit warm today - 118 degrees F at the moment. And it's not that nice dry heat - as the head index is 139 degrees.

Thinking a basement workout space would be a whole lot nicer.

It's sort of nice to sweat a lot while working out, but I know that's irrational. It's not like it's healthier if you sweat a lot. Probably the opposite. Anyway 118 is too much even so.

Gym was ~74 today. A little warm for my taste.

They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

Yikes. 41 degrees here and raining, supposed to drop below freezing, had to cover all my flower beds and am hoping for the best.

This weekend we had real-feel temps near 100. On Saturday we had the slip and slide out on the front yard (RIP grass 😞 ) most of the day, fun times.

Yesterday, I took my kid to a minor league ball game. He got a game ball (pitcher warm up) which he was thrilled about. Also in the 7th inning we walked down to sit in @jon-nyc and @Horace level 1%er seats for a few batters. Normally I blur his face but technically this was on live broadcast, so what can I say. We are the ones behind the catcher/ump. It was near 100 degrees there but had about 20mph winds the whole time. Shade/breeze can beat almost any hot day! Felt good.

Very cool, good for him that he got a game ball.

Me too. It's better in almost every regard, parking, seating, prices, fun between innings, and the players (to me) feel like they're playing that much harder since they're trying to earn their way to the big leagues.
