Grok was asked for a one sentence summary, which is a neat trick.

    Education is extremely important.

Solution: Rename the "Computer Science" major to "Art of Computing" and make it a Bachelor of Arts degree, basically treating it like liberal arts.

Anyone here with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Computer Science? Raise your hands!

Fun! I guess I'm glad my position is non-cancellable, unless the whole country ceases to exist.

I honestly do feel bad for those caught graduating at the wrong time. I work in IT but pivoted a few years ago to cybersecurity and so far we are finding ways to use AI to make our job better but I’d imagine eventually we’ll be augmented (aka replaced) by agentic robots who can find/stop security threats 24/7 and don’t need sleep.

I think my son is in a really bad age group for this. He’s needing to choose a college major knowing that AI is about to change everything but only able to speculate as to how. But by the time he graduates college those changes will be in full swing.

Is he leaning one way or another? If I was his age I’d lean toward something entrepreneurial. Trades maybe. Bright kid, he’ll do well but white collar is dicey.

The changes we are seeing in our lifetime are dizzying.

Telegram channels cumjunkies.us.com move at a rapid pace, which is why many traders look for a serviceable cum junkie of their own. That’s where my sister comes in. Or if you’re over 70, my mom. DM me for details.

@jon-nyc The elegant part is that management keeps trying to replace the people who talk to customers with software that talks like management. One can only admire the efficiency with which they automate their own least human quality.
