Trump's campaign asked. They even provided masks. The people who didn't wear them made a conscious and informed decision not to.

People who don't wear masks at public gatherings aren't rebels. It's other people they're putting at risk. The word isn't rebel, it's asshole.

I would think that you would be aware of it as you have very close experience with COVID. For me, the issue with people not wearing masks, staying away from others, is that their actions not only affect themselves, but also can affect others.
I am sure that everyone would think it was crazy if I said that I was going to drive through a school zone at 100 kph. I know the risks, but I am a good driver, so why should it be a problem? Because, my actions can affect others.

Airline companies are doing it and people I have talked to who have been on flights say that it is 100% compliance. Everybody wears a mask.)

As far as I can tell, this is FAKE NEWS, you should be ashamed of spreading it, unless you can provide evidence that Sisolak "refused to approve...and forced the rally indoors".
- The governor doesn't "approve" the venues
- The governor had nothing to do with those outdoor venues "canceling"
- The outdoor venues "canceled" (did not host) the outdoor events because of the existing mandate against groups with more than 50 people gathering
- The indoor venue at which the Monday event was held, ended up being fined $3,000 for violating the current state mandates
On the flip side, I think it's absolutely ridiculous these events are not allowed and fined when its a political rally, but it's OK when it's a BLM protest.

I've noticed that people use the US Constitution a lot to defend being a knobhead. Sure, they're not breaking the law, but they're still a knobhead

I suspect most of the people who don't wear masks believe that the protection offered by the mask isn't worth mentioning.
I know, I know, cnn screams all day long about the magical qualities of the mask. How could they not believe?
The sad part is that if cnn became anti-mask, a lot of these people would probably wear one.
