There hasn’t been a cover up so much as a doubling down. Not that they wouldn’t cover it up, they just can’t because Goldberg has the receipts.
Interesting because some of these are actual Federal crimes. I wonder if Secretary Whiskileaks gets a preemptive pardon at some point.

I don't think that's been established.

Anyone have any idea how the attacks turned out?

That doesn't matter.
And in an absolute stunning coincidence, check out which judge got the freshly minted Signal, Hegseth et al lawsuit....

Weirdest non-sequitur whattaboutism ever. GeorgeK you’re not. Might as well just yell ‘SQUIRREL!’

Yeah, what about GeorgeK?
Did he used to post here?

He is an expert whattaboutter and would never have thought the Vindeman testimony (under subpoena and with counsel by his side advising him what he could and could not share) was sufficiently analogous to warrant wattaboutting in this thread.
Besides, can’t you just point to Hilary’s emails?

The oppositional echo chamber appears to be overestimating the dishonesty of the talking points.

The interesting thing about this scandal is it includes so many high level execs. Twelve clowns, one Volkswagen.

If it's as minor a transgression as you say, it's a little odd that the Trump brigade has used such over-the-top language to describe the journalist they themselves invited to the meeting.
He's been called a 'loser', 'scum', 'sleazebag' and even the extremely witty 'Goldshit'.
I'm still at a bit of a loss to see what he did that was so wrong.
Maybe one of The Faithful can explain it to me using their words.

I've said before that Trump is like Steve Jobs in that he invents his own reality and repeats it enough until everyone around him accepts it as being true. That might work on inventing a device that can hold 1,000 songs with only a single button... but in this case the talking points is "there were no classified messages in the chat!" which they can repeat over and over but as we are seeing...
Now Tulsi's changing her tune from "no classified content" to "oh, I didn't read that part of the chat, I only replied at the end with a kudos to the team". Starts around 1:45. She's then told that her own ODNI classification guidance says information about a planned attack is TOP SECRET, she says... yeah but what about DoD classification system, but then can't say if it would be materially different (spoiler: it wouldn't), then she says Hegseth can decide what is classified or not.
So much fluff over immature folks refusing to just accept they screwed up and will enforce the law.

You may not have any interest in following their talking points, but they are not accusing this journalist of doing anything wrong specifically in this case. His history of motivated journalism is real, and they are going back to that history to call him names etc, but that's misdirection rather than explicit dishonesty. If anybody wants to get precious about those sorts of political word games, ok, but nobody will take it seriously.
