Who doesn't love a good neighborhood Facebook drama? Yesterday, an 8 year old kicked a 2 year old in the face at a local park. Accident? I don't know! Nobody knows. The father of the two year old saw it and came over, then an 18 year old aunt of the 8 year old came over and MAYBE apologized to the 2 year old and her father? Or maybe not? And the father cursed at the 18 year old girl as he was walking away with his daugher.

THEN, the 18 year old girl's dad, having heard about the incident and about how some adult guy cursed at his 18 year old daugher, got on facebook and called the guy out! He didn't know who it was, but he wanted a face to face word. Then that guy's WIFE responds on facebook, she is a local chiropractor who takes NO GUFF, and tells the dad of the 18 year old that he's a pathetic keyboard warrior and that SHE would be happy to meet up if he wants to.

Was the kick intentional? Is the chiropractor's husband a pussy? Is the chiropractor as insufferable as all chiropractors definitely are? Was it confusing to read a story of an 18 year old daughter and an 8 year old grand daughter, and have to piece together that the daughter must be an aunt rather than the mother of the 8 year old? Yes!

Needless to say, everybody won the confrontation!

For the record, IMO it's wrong for 8 year olds to kick 2 year olds in the face.

    Education is extremely important.

The chiropractor acted as a character witness for her husband. He has only raised his voice to her once in all their years of marriage, so it made no sense that he would have gotten confrontational with the 18 year old girl. This raises the question, how is one married to a chiropractor and not constantly yelling at that chiropractor to be less chiropracty all the time?

      Education is extremely important.

My guess he's been bottling it up for years, and then he finally snapped. It's also possible that the 18 year old girl drove him into the kind of frenzy that his wife has only managed once in all the time they've been together.

Maybe Netflix can make a movie about it?

        I was only joking

I am shocked. You have influenced me lately to take the more prudent approach of waiting until all facts are known to make such a statement. Maybe it was like a really strong 2 year old.

Love some stupid neighborhood drama. This was ours yesterday. Someone complained about dogs being walked without leashes, someone else said they had an electronic collar which was legal in our city, but has to be within 6 feet or something... I didn't keep up, but did chuckle at this person's characterization of the dog.

The 18 year old girl's dad needs gender affirmation.

One time a 6 or 7 year old pushed my son who was then a toddler. I told the mother, very aggressively, that her child was a sociopath and would end up institutionalized.

I told my wife the same thing. I said don't these folks know that, in the context of the whole world, they're living in like the top 0.01% of a neighborhood environment?

I’ve talked about Italiano “Stella” before. Prior to FB, back in the ancient home phone era, she’d be calling all the neighbors to squawk off of any injustice she witnessed on the playground. It’s like she worked through a list of street moms.

We had Mrs. Mitchell who would stand at the picture window all day watching all the neighborhood kids. Woe to you if you mistreated her little Denny. Which of course just made us abuse him more. Tribes of boys are pretty vicious.

Yup. The 2 little Raviolis got it too. All because of their mom.

Stella, or one of her family, stole my kickass beautiful fuschia Iris bulbs one year. I still can’t prove it. But still they bloom in her front yard. She will rot in Hell for that.
