Love some stupid neighborhood drama. This was ours yesterday. Someone complained about dogs being walked without leashes, someone else said they had an electronic collar which was legal in our city, but has to be within 6 feet or something... I didn't keep up, but did chuckle at this person's characterization of the dog.
Ah yes, the leashless dogs. That's like a whole genre of neighborhood facebook drama. That and dog poop in the yards.

DOnt know how common it is, but a friend who lives in a apartment complex. Everybody who has a dog has to turn in some of their dog's poop to get DNA tested.
If "unclaimed" poop is found in the complex, they will check to see whose dog it is.
I kind of doubt they are doing this, but maybe just the fear or possibility of it happening is enough to make people clean up after their dogs.

Who doesn't love a good neighborhood Facebook drama? Yesterday, an 8 year old kicked a 2 year old in the face at a local park. Accident? I don't know! Nobody knows. The father of the two year old saw it and came over, then an 18 year old aunt of the 8 year old came over and MAYBE apologized to the 2 year old and her father? Or maybe not? And the father cursed at the 18 year old girl as he was walking away with his daugher.
THEN, the 18 year old girl's dad, having heard about the incident and about how some adult guy cursed at his 18 year old daugher, got on facebook and called the guy out! He didn't know who it was, but he wanted a face to face word. Then that guy's WIFE responds on facebook, she is a local chiropractor who takes NO GUFF, and tells the dad of the 18 year old that he's a pathetic keyboard warrior and that SHE would be happy to meet up if he wants to.
Was the kick intentional? Is the chiropractor's husband a pussy? Is the chiropractor as insufferable as all chiropractors definitely are? Was it confusing to read a story of an 18 year old daughter and an 8 year old grand daughter, and have to piece together that the daughter must be an aunt rather than the mother of the 8 year old? Yes!
Needless to say, everybody won the confrontation!
For the record, IMO it's wrong for 8 year olds to kick 2 year olds in the face.

What if it's a 6 y.o. kicking a 4 y.o. in the face?

I do not engage with completely ridiculous hypotheticals.

That’s brilliant. Srsly. You know they don’t do it, but it is probably great for compliance.
As for the rest of the brouhahas in this thread, Jeezel Pete. First world problems.

I told my wife the same thing. I said don't these folks know that, in the context of the whole world, they're living in like the top 0.01% of a neighborhood environment?

The thread got shut down for further comment, but the original poster edited his original post and added clarification that the 18 year old was, indeed, an aunt rather than a mother. Nailed it.
Before it got shut down, the fight spread to neighbors who took one side or another. Some people think that it's never ok for an older adult male to use a swear word in front of an 8 or 18 year old girl. Others think that it's wrong for an 8 year old girl to kick a 2 year old girl in the face. (After much deliberation, I, too, came to that conclusion.) One thing both sides want the other side to know, is that nothing could be said to change their mind.
Also, I looked at the chiropractor's profile. Thin blonde woman with huge, novelty-sized fake breasts. That checks out.

I think it would depend a lot on what the 2 year old did to provoke the attack. I mean, maybe the 2 year old misgendered the 8 year old? That would surely justify some type of punishment.

Chiropractors are the crunchiest of holistic healers. It would seem very likely that she is still breastfeeding if only for social and business approbation. But with all of that silicon, it can’t be very organic… And certainly not grass-fed…
