This really seems tedious for those of us whose memory goes all the way back to 2021-2024 and remember maga taking every case they could to a particular Texas federal judge seeking nationwide injunctions.

Ah, memory lane... As of now, Trump should hit an interesting mark this summer. He will have more nationwide injunctions imposed by lower courts, than all other Presidents combined.
Are you sure you want to go down the comparative pathway with lawfare?

This isn’t lawfare. This is what the court system is for. Beyond that, the administration knows it’s testing legal ground, indeed it’s part of their strategy. Of course the more a president tests existing legal boundaries the more he’ll be challenged in court. This isn’t hard.

A. Roberts missed his chance to make the district judges engage in appropriate jurisprudence. It is time to restore their rightful place in the judiciary ladder vs. other branches of government.
B. Again, the answer is to create a process where legalities are reviewed by a three judge panel at the appellate level and fast-tracked to SCOTUS as warranted. -

I wouldn't say the system is broken at all, but there's always room for some improvement. The system is broken if the executive branch doesn't adhere to the judicial branch's role to check/balance the other two branches.

Great, and we’ll see what happens as they make their way up the chain. That’s not a broken system, that’s the way it’s supposed to work. And while I don’t give a damn what happens to these gangster thugs, I do give a damn about accidental deportations and sending somebody to these El Salvador prisons. That’s a big fucking deal, and it’s worth delaying and allowing SOME jurisprudence at her than accidentally and wrongly sending somebody to one of those hellhole prisons…

And it’s absolutely correct and proper for Roberts to defend and represent the Judicial Branch above and beyond partisan politics.
