So Yanbu is THE major Saudi export hub for oil that doesn’t rely on the strait. So yeah.

The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

So basically, there will be even more stagflation than was expected, despite Trump's new Fed Chairbuddy, and gas prices going up another $2 per gallon soon. I suppose gold will go even higher?

Seems to me to be too early to say but that is certainly the risk.

            President Trump yesterday:

They weren't supposed to go after all these other countries in the Middle East. Those missiles were sent to go after them. They hit Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait,

Nobody expected that. We were shocked. You know, they fought back.

He also said something like, "Iran did not have to fight back. They could have yielded."

            #faceslap

He must have very incompetent advisors, or he does not listen to them. Probably the last, as I dont think that anybody would have said that Iran would not fight back.

Also, agree with @bachophile that the US had to know that Israel was going to do the bombing they did. 100% Looks like he is starting to throw Isreal "under the bus:

I’m reminded of when he said in his first term, “Nobody knew how hard health care reform would be”.

In addition to the troops from San Diego, I believe that they are also sending some Marine troops from Okinawa base in Japan.

I believe that either PM or Foreign Minister of Isreal at first said that Isreal definitely let the US know what they were doing.

Later, the stepped back on that statement. I wonder if there were some pressure from the US to change their statement. 🤔

Actually, as much as I dislike Netanyahu, he is the only coherent belligerent in this war. The logic he uses behind Isreal’s engagement and objectives are clearly articulated regardless of whether or not one agrees with him. The same cannot at all be said for his American ally no matter who is behind the mic, the X post or Truth Social tantrum.

There's reasonable speculation that Israel knew of 9/11 prior to the event and kept silent as it would likely work out in Israel's favor. It isn't out of bounds to think that they might not have shared their plans in the current situation.

What a great idea. Let's unite the Muslim world against the infidels. Almost as good as alienating one's allies.

This could explain the above. The market is pricing in 5.2% inflation for the next 12 months. In 3 weeks, it's gone from pricing in a rate cut to pricing in a rate increase.
