President’s Day Weekend was up ~ 20% over 2024 for us, and that was despite having more than one prospective client delaying due to Federal job insecurity…
So we’re seeing both good and bad…

Indeed I’m optimistic that Trump cares enough about the stock market and inflation that he does whatever he needs to keep those ratings, I mean numbers, up. Not joking!

I agree with that. Though the bond market, which he doesn’t pay attention to, may be his cruelest master.

So far, everything seems fine.
That said, quite a few of us in the piano rebuilding industry get soundboard and pinblock materials from Bolduc in Canada. This could add a pretty good chunk to the retail cost of a restoration. Or, I suppose more folks would try a handful of other suppliers. They're out there, but tend to be spotty in terms of reliably having product.
