    “Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

    Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

      With the election over we can safely blame the fed again for inflationary monetary policy.

        I'm willing to admit -with 20/20 hindsight - that Trump started the ball rolling, but Biden gave it a mighty and unneeded kick.

          This debt thing sure does seem like a looming tidal wave that we have no plan for.

            The house has a plan to increase it by 10% in just two years.

              I remember a Bush guy who wanted to "defund the government" and implemented a number of tax cuts just before committing to a 3 trillion dollar war. That ball has been rolling for a while now. Heck, Reagan talked a good talk and still did a good job of making a generous contribution.

                Deficits don't matter.

                Of course, that was said when Dick Cheney was considered a rabid right-winger. Now, he's looked on as some kind of RINO.

                I was only joking

                  @Doctor-Phibes

                  Worse than that, Cheney is now a neo-con and globalist. Very, very bad indeed.

                    Musk has been pretty blunt about it, more than most politicians. It will bankrupt us in the not-so-distant future. And who knows more about bankruptcies than...
