Yep. And while I'm no fan of hers, you have to have something to get elected and reelected.

God only knows how Maxine Waters keeps getting reelected, but she does.

So, regardless of party, those guys who can claw their way into Congress and then manage to stay there, have got something.

I don't have it, and I don't think you do, either.

Matt Gaetz did Bill Mahr's personal podcast and mentioned how he respected AOC personally, because at least she believes what she says.

      Education is extremely important.

I mean, she lost the first time. But she won the 2nd time she tried. She was able to get MTG's endorsement.... and of course MTG is highly qualified just like AOC the bartender with an opinion. MTG was a crossfit instructor or something until she moved her house into a district that was easier to win than where she actually lived...and MTG isn't exactly the sharpest crayon in the shed.

Anyway... if Loona is smart, she'll provide evidence there were 2 shooters. As of now she said on a national stage that she believes there were 2 shooters and then admitted she didn't have access to the evidence yet. Honestly I think she formed her opinion from watching the Oliver Stone JFK movie and youtube conspiracy clips. But again, if she proves me wrong, I'll admit she's smart.

          Why aren't you in Congress?

But I'm confused, are you saying making it into Congress means you're smart and/or not loony? Have you seen who's made it in? Some bright minds and some absolute morons.

I'm saying a person who can win a seat and then keep being reelected to that seat is not as stupid as we often portray them to be.

So we should accept what she says as well thought out because she was re-elected?

Let's accept for a moment that she's good at getting re-elected. Does that mean she's good at the job?

I don't know about you, but I've worked with numerous people who were promoted to senior management who I wouldn't trust to tie their own shoes unassisted. "But they got promoted, they must be smart!".

Some are smarter than others, no doubt. And some act like idiots, often just for show.

But if you think they're as stupid as portrayed, next time you want something from them, start off by telling them how stupid they are.

Maybe your truth shall set you free.

I think there's a bit of a double standard being applied here, Jolly. You have had absolutely no problem in describing politicians from the opposing party in nothing but the most derisory terms. And now, suddenly, respect is in order.

That's not been my experience, although I guess it depends on what you mean by 'successful'. Getting a highly paid or difficult job isn't necessarily success.

Anna Paulina Luna (née Mayerhofer, later Gamberzky

In 2019, she took her maternal grandmother's maiden name, Luna, to represent her Hispanic heritage. She did this to follow suit from her mother who had first changed her surname to the same, following a finalized divorce. Luna began describing herself as Hispanic in 2019. However, when she registered to vote in 2015, she had marked her ethnicity as "White, not of Hispanic origin."

Sen Warren is her racial mentor.
