At the time he suggested it, it could have actually paid off a significant amount of the debt. Now? It’s laughable.

By the way Biden issued statements for Columbus Day and also for Indigenous Peoples Day. Last I checked you guys attributed to Harris everything Biden did. Is that no longer operarational?

I don’t think it was so much the settlers as it was infectious disease and cheap whisky and rum.
In any case though I think the Natives tended to fair somewhat better under the French as overlords than any of the other European powers.
