Attacks on Hezbollah using booby-trapped pagers raise questions about whether everyday electronics could present new dangers—and security hurdles—for air travelers.
Aviation authorities in Lebanon have banned travelers from boarding planes or checking luggage with pagers and walkie-talkies. No other countries have followed suit so far, and travelers can expect business as usual when they go through airport security.

Yup. It’s hard to minimize the magnitude of what happened. In one week, twenty years of Iranian planning, billions in support, was basically decapitated and erased.

Brilliant. I read the other day - may have posted it here - that Iran is growing increasingly uncomfortable with Russia and China and their economy and looking to improve relations with the West. Let the bastards rot until their murderous messianic dream collapses.

So it makes you wonder, did the Luxembourgs attack the communications because they didn’t want any kind of advance notice to get to him, or did they attack the communications to mitigate any responses from this attack? Command for Hezbollah is completely disrupted.

With all the terrorists sneaking across our borders, there must be some exploding devices here.
Just reading all the responses in this thread. What kind of range did these pagers have? Were there any reports of far away detonations?
