It’s 67 right now, going up to the mid-70s., sunny with no humidity. I’m off after a very hectic weekend. I can catch up on some chores, or take Finley out on a hike or go fishing. What say you?

2a - the second option with a side of day drinking.

There’s just enough coolness to the air that it made me think about getting an Oktoberfest later…

Karla had a few things to say about the skipping of the chores… But… She did take Finley out to a play date for a few hours this evening, leaving me, the grill, and a couple of Festbiers to enjoy…

Wonderful weather here as well. A bit warmer than I'd like, but not humid. Hopefully summer's on her last legs for the year.

It’s a great feeling when you can wear jeans again, put away the sunscreen, the mosquitoes are gone… Autumn/fall remains easily the best season by a long shot.

Just realized, why did I say summer was a "her." Not like I'm a biologist or anything.

Chores will always be there. Sunny, mid 70's, AND no humidity will not. You made the right choice.

Nor will your kiddo at this age.
I knew it at the time and know it still…. The Covid days where I took my 2 year old to the creek ever day for a walk/hike was as good as it gets.
