It’s 67 right now, going up to the mid-70s., sunny with no humidity. I’m off after a very hectic weekend. I can catch up on some chores, or take Finley out on a hike or go fishing. What say you?

Finley caught several fish last week, his first time ever for casting and reeling in. One was so tiny that it could have gone in our fish tank, easily.

Karla had a few things to say about the skipping of the chores… But… She did take Finley out to a play date for a few hours this evening, leaving me, the grill, and a couple of Festbiers to enjoy…

It’s a great feeling when you can wear jeans again, put away the sunscreen, the mosquitoes are gone… Autumn/fall remains easily the best season by a long shot.

Just realized, why did I say summer was a "her." Not like I'm a biologist or anything.

I knew it at the time and know it still…. The Covid days where I took my 2 year old to the creek ever day for a walk/hike was as good as it gets.
