*Another* Trump indictment
-
Secret grand jury. Another lawfare indictment.
I hope Trump goes up by six
-
It’s not really ‘another’ indictment, it’s an updated (superceding) indictment taking into account Trump v United States.
-
It's another fucking indictment.
Grand jury + prosecutor -> True Bill

Don't they know they're just sending more people over to Trump?
I am curious why you think that. Because people feel sorry for him? Whether or not there is this indictment, he is the same person, same style, same policies, etc.
He himself has not changed anything because of this.
-
Look at the history of attempts by Democrats to destroy the guy. It’s gone on for 9 years now. People see this.

Say, when the Republicans were throwing birtherism/muslim/Kenyan stuff at Obama, did you think "Don't they know they're just sending more people over to Obama?"
-
As usual, no discernment, no nuance, no understanding.
-
I agree with @Axtremus on this. Voting for someone just because a person feels sorry for them does not seem to be a good way to decide who to vote for. Especially when nothing else has changed.
-
It has nothing to do with feeling sorry for Trump. It’s an egregious and corrupt abuse of power, a much greater threat to democracy than Trump.

Amen.

Believe it or not, I don't think Jack Smith's motivation is driven by politics. He doesn't care if this helps or hurts the Trump campaign. He's enforcing the law. And @jon-nyc said, pragmatically, it's not a new indictment, but an updated one based on a court ruling, which makes sense.
-
Here's an idea, read the indictment. Replace "Trump" with "Obama" and tell me how you'd feel if Obama tried to remain in power despite losing in an electoral landslide.

Have you not followed Jack's career?
-
Believe it or not I haven't. Jack Smith, isn't he a character in James Patterson novels?
-
Do some research.
You often espouse opinions based on no knowledge of motives or backstories.
-
I mean, I read the indictment. Do you disagree with the facts?
-
Jack Smith has prosected Kosovo war crimes, criminals who killed NYPD cops, and various democrat and republican politicians. He seems normal to me.
Wait, he has completed over 100 triathlons and 9 ironmans? Ok, nevermind, he is nuts.
-
And Jack Smith got slapped down 8-0 by SCOTUS, in which the Justices called one of the most blatant overreaches of government power. Ever.
-
I am sure Jack Smith is sincere in his belief that his overreach is for the good of America.
