I was surprised to see Trump doing this.

Struck me as a cheap photo-op.

    "Lookat meee! I care."

Has any POTUS or VPOTUS done anything like this before this week? AFAIK, Trump didn't 2 years ago, or 1 year ago..

    Spits out morning coffee.

I'm sorry, did you say you were surprised to see this? If so, I have a video of Trump holding up a bible.

Trump’s motorcade hurt him in NOVA. They shut down all of the East/West corridors (7, Dulles Toll Road, and 66) because the GW Parkway is under construction. It shutdown traffic completely for 30 minutes in the middle of rush hour…It could have been better planned.

Was that also the trip he took to the Eden Center to mingle with the Vietnamese population? He was along with Hung Cao (pronounced Hung Cow), and my favorite part was Trump saying "Great name. Hung cow. How can he lose with a name like that?"

Unlike Harris, Trump can be spontaneously funny, which is a sign of wit and intelligence.

Still waiting for the President Trump campaign to release video which they say proves they were in the right.

That's what I tell my wife. I won't tell you what her response is in case children or sensitive people are reading.

            I was only joking

Keep waiting. I suspect that Trump is not trying to appeal to your type of voter.

That is his current problem and dilemma. Currently, he is appealing to voters who are already going to vote for him.

IF he doesn't change his strategy, he will lose the election.

Tell me, were you voting for Trump? Under any circumstances?

Eugene Robinson at WaPo: Don’t yawn at Trump’s dishonorable use of Arlington National Cemetery

Donald Trump has shown the nation, once again, that he has no shame.
You knew that, of course. But hauling a camera crew to Arlington National Cemetery and exploiting the fresh graves of heroes — using them as props in his presidential campaign — was more than a violation of the cemetery’s rules; it was more, even, than a violation of federal law. It was a deeply dishonorable act by a shockingly dishonorable man.

Just because we are accustomed to this kind of behavior from Trump does not mean we should accept it. Just because he has no sense of honor or appreciation of sacrifice does not mean we have to pretend honor and sacrifice no longer exist. Just because “Trump is an awful person” is an old story does not mean we should yawn at this latest demonstration and quickly move on.

                              Obama ad:

                              image.jpeg
                              image.jpeg

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

@George-K A serving Commander in Chief honoring fallen vets is quite different from an aspirant for office exploiting them during a campaign.

Maybe the gap would close a bit had Obama done that in September of 2012, but on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 it was the right thing to do. Indeed, imagine the reaction of the RWEC had he not done something like that.

                                          Thou sayest.

Tell me, were you voting for Trump? Under any circumstances?

                                          Me Knowest! LOL

40% of the voting population will vote for President Trump, regardless of what he has said or done in the past, and regardless of what he says or does in the future to the election time.

40% of the voting population will vote for VP Harris, regardless of what she has said or done in the past, and regardless of what she says or does in the future to the election time.

                                          20% will decide the election.

That is who both candidates should be focusing on - those 20%.

And trust me that the above, is not something that will sway the 20%.

(Having said that, I am 95% sure that President Trump had no decision or part in the whole fiasco. It is basically the fault of his campaign staff, but as has been said, it is perception...........)
