And tell us who your dead non-citizen great-grandmother votes for on her mail-in ballot too.

Eugene Robinson at WaPo: Don’t yawn at Trump’s dishonorable use of Arlington National Cemetery

Donald Trump has shown the nation, once again, that he has no shame.
You knew that, of course. But hauling a camera crew to Arlington National Cemetery and exploiting the fresh graves of heroes — using them as props in his presidential campaign — was more than a violation of the cemetery’s rules; it was more, even, than a violation of federal law. It was a deeply dishonorable act by a shockingly dishonorable man.

Just because we are accustomed to this kind of behavior from Trump does not mean we should accept it. Just because he has no sense of honor or appreciation of sacrifice does not mean we have to pretend honor and sacrifice no longer exist. Just because “Trump is an awful person” is an old story does not mean we should yawn at this latest demonstration and quickly move on.

At least Obama didn't do it on the 11th anniversary that coincides with an election year.

@George-K A serving Commander in Chief honoring fallen vets is quite different from an aspirant for office exploiting them during a campaign.

Maybe the gap would close a bit had Obama done that in September of 2012, but on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 it was the right thing to do. Indeed, imagine the reaction of the RWEC had he not done something like that.

Maybe this wouldn’t be a big deal if Biden or Harris ever actually spoke with any of the Gold Star parents or even read the names and acknowledged their sacrifice? Just a thought.

                        Me Knowest! LOL

40% of the voting population will vote for President Trump, regardless of what he has said or done in the past, and regardless of what he says or does in the future to the election time.

40% of the voting population will vote for VP Harris, regardless of what she has said or done in the past, and regardless of what she says or does in the future to the election time.

                        20% will decide the election.

That is who both candidates should be focusing on - those 20%.

And trust me that the above, is not something that will sway the 20%.

(Having said that, I am 95% sure that President Trump had no decision or part in the whole fiasco. It is basically the fault of his campaign staff, but as has been said, it is perception...........)

                          Was Obama invited?

Gold star families invited Trump, because they thought the Biden-Harris Administration caused their loved ones deaths through negligence and then gave them a fucking over afterwards.

With Trump there, it guarantees that people do not forget.

Where’s that “point” floating over the guy’s head gif?

No doubt we could find a number of families of fallen soldiers that would invite Free Palestine protestors to their son’s graves for the photo op. Wouldn’t make it appropriate.

Its sad that 13 families in 2021 had to bear the death of a military son or daughter during military action.

it is also sad that 19 families in 2019 had to bear the death of a military son or daughter action..

That's correct, but very misleading. You like graphs...Graph out the months when those deaths occurred.
