The DNC Convention

By the way, Biden's giving a speech at the DNC tonight, and then headed back to DC at 11 PM.
He won't be attending Harris's speech.

The bare minimum. The last hurrah of The Coup.

It has to be tough (and somewhat embarrassing) for him. Always nice to go out in a way you want. When it happens in another way.........

May not be over, yet.
There is a rumor that if Trump is whacking Kamala-lama-ding-dong in late September, Biden resigns (or is pushed out by the 25th), giving the Kamrade Kampaign a pop.

Another bummer is that Biden is going to announce his resignation today.

That would probably swing things back, very damn quickly.

A thought...
Biden will never accept the Democrat nomination for president in a crowded convention hall in front of thousands of cheering delegates...

Opening remarks by an Indigenous guy.
He continued, "From time immemorial, our ancestors lived in the Great Lakes region. However, in 1849, an illegal auction by the U.S. government forcibly removed our tribe from our homeland. Since then, we have been working to reclaim it."
"From time immemorial" meaning the time this Indigenous guy took it away from some other Indigenous guy.

Anyone watching?
I didn't watch the RNC convention.
I didn't watch either in 2020, 2016...
I plan to continue my streak.

Besides, the Dems pushed Biden's speech out of primetime.
Must of just been bad luck...

What?
I didn’t watch, but I saw something showing Biden at a podium around 6 last evening. That’s when I commented that he looked like my dad.

LOL isn't that the truth. It was only illegal when the USA did it because... we won. You'd think history class would teach less about gender protests and more about how countries formed over time. Whoever was stronger.
