Saw a cybertruck in the wild

I saw one yesterday too, and it made an impression. Mostly because it sped past me at 60 mph in a residential area.
This type of thing might provide BMW owners with some relief, at least.

In Los Angeles.
I saw a cyber truck actually doing truck stuff.
Or maybe just flipping off the haters.

So far so good. Tomorrow we’ll be heading north on the Pacific Coast Highway. All next week we’ll be in SFO

I haven't been there in a while. The videos they post on Tik Tok show the city as dystopian with nearly all of the stores vacated. I'm curious regarding your perception of the city as (or if) it stands.

I’ve been there twice since Covid, and LA twice since Covid. I always see more homeless encampments here in LA, though that could be that where I happen to go aren’t representative samples.
I did go to a target with a CVS in it here in LA and had to have the glass doors opened for detergent, toothpaste, and razors.

About the same number of trips for me, but for me, the number of (visible) homeless was much less on the last trip.

Back to the thread, below is a real Cybertruck in the wild!!
The leader of Russia’s Chechen Republic has heaped praise on Tesla CEO Elon Musk and invited the billionaire to visit his region after posting a video of himself driving a gun-mounted Cybertruck.
In a video posted on his Telegram channel on Saturday, Ramzan Kadyrov could be seen taking a Cybertruck on a drive in the regional capital Grozny before standing astride a machinegun mounted on the vehicle’s roof.
“I express my sincere gratitude to Elon Musk. This is, of course, the strongest genius of our time and a specialist. A great man,” Kadyrov said in a post accompanying the video.
Kadyrov invited Musk to Grozny, saying he would be received as “my most dear guest”.

Ramzan Kadyrov, the notorious head of Russia’s Chechnya region, accused Elon Musk of remotely disabling a Tesla Inc. Cybertruck that he said had been used in Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Good for Elon!
I saw something weird, the other day. A cybertruck that wasn’t the slightly reflective gray, but was a charcoal -
-
My wife just sent me a pic of one in a parking lot here. It was blue. Anyway, she said it was UGLY.
I think it's kind of fun to push the envelope. I wouldn't buy one but all I can think is Elon is having fun about what can be done when you have time and money.

Saw one up close and personal, today. One parks between my car and Karla’s at a Chik-Fil-A where we met for lunch.
James May was correct, there’s a lot of fit/finish problems up close.
-
My son calls Tesla 3s ‘panel gaps’.

I recently saw a white one in BKK. Never mind how impractical it is for a city like BKK, it was just as ugly as the grey ones.
