They'll go ahead and claim the part of their ancestry that makes them most cool and oppressed, I would assume.

Similar to the trans concept... I find it mind boggling that anyone could want or support this or not see the insanity in it. For example, the first generation commencement... why not provide a better honor and ask during the general commencement for any first generation student to stand up so folks can applaud. Why quarantine that to an echo chamber room?
