Yeap, Ohioâs ballot access rules are well known to the Democratic Party well ahead of time. Itâs their own fault for not planning accordingly.

Also, considering the actions of Maine and (?) Arizona to keep Trump off the ballot, I would think the GOP majority in Ohio are not inclined to play nice.

I think that may be true, but what about any other candidate? Even if they pull a convention switcheroo, a name still won't be submitted by the deadline.

This isnât rocket science. Put Biden and Harris on the ballot in Ohio. If the Dems somehow won Ohio, then have the electors vote for whoever comes from the convention.

Just wait until some asshat files suit saying that the convention is the venue where the nomination occurs and this should not be considered a valid nomination.
Democrats also staged a remote vote on Mr. Bidenâs nomination in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Was that the actual nomination or was it a "roll call" which the Democrats are proposing as a solution?

Technically, they donât even need to do the roll call. All they really need is for the Democratic Party of Ohio to turn in Bidenâs name 90 days before the election. Thatâs it. They could do it now. So why the rigamarole with the roll call?
