I think that ship has sailed. I may never feel safe again. But that's not to say I've given up on my crusade to imprison those who make me feel unsafe.

Looks like a mud mask or something, but who knows.
In the comments, pretty much every single person took the poster's analysis of the situation at face value. I find it pretty much impossible to believe it was as she said it was. It makes no sense.

You’re not putting on a full mud mask at Sephora. It’s a store, not a spa. Beyond that is the question of the noises. If they were grunting like pigs, I can see it as a non racist joke. If they were making monkey/chimp noises, though…
