It's Friday night. What's for dinner?

MFR made a request for chicken tortilla soup, which I have not made in dog years. Should be very good. I'm starting with one recipe, then adding taco seasoning, cream cheese and heavy cream from another one.

Add on a hard roll and a 24 ounce Luzianne iced tea and viola!

Papa John’s
Never had it. Any good?
Srsly? Yeah it’s pretty good for delivery. I’m not picky at all when it comes to food so probably not the best person to ask. They have a very easy to use app and, more importantly, we are within their delivery zone.

Papa John’s is not bad. My BIL was frat brother with him. I personally think in that arena Donato’s is a bit better, and Jets better still.
Yeah we get Jets anytime we have visitors from out of town.

My turn for "baked chicken."
This one came out of the oven looking so good that I snapped a picture.
Recipe: quarter chicken marinated overnight in a mix of two sources (Korean spicy sauce meant for pork and bulgogi meant for beef), sprayed olive oil, Mediterranean style "Badia Complete Seasoning"; 38 minutes in the oven at 400F. Minus the marination, same treatment for the onion. The green liquid in the white bowl is my after-meal tea, matcha that I brought back from Japan from some shop near the Ginkaku temple. It's name, 萬年翡翠, translates to "ten thousand year jadeite."
