I won't have remorse. The point of this thread was the puzzly solution I offered, which I thought was mildly cute.

No one likes to pay shipping or additional postage or sales taxes and levies over and above the quoted price. I get that. You can mitigate the shipping cost by doing what others here have suggested. Those suggestions were not cute, they were instead, earnest and sincere.
