Hamas attacks Israel

No kidding. In a normal war situation a temporary cease fire would also include a withdrawal of belligerent forces to mutually agreed upon lines until the hour of expiration. The hope is to mitigate the chances that the cease will be broken.
No such lines exist or can exist in this conflict. The IDF and Hamas both occupy the same scattered rubble piles. This is a cease fire resting on a hair trigger that once breached cannot be recovered.

This has an ice cube's chance in hell of being upheld.
It’s not meant to. Israel has been pretty open about their intentions as soon as the exchanges take place. They are upfront about it…
Plus, who wants to bet that the Palestinian criminals being released are tagged in some way?

I wonder how hard it is for Hamas to communicate/control their forces.
They seemed to communicate just fine on October 7th…

How long did it take them to communicate all that was needed prior to Oct. 7th to make it happen the way it did?
Is the communications infrastructure they used to communicate prior to Oct. 7th still functional or has that been disrupted since?
