Independent fact checker believes they have identified impact site, and details of the crater doesn’t match what one would expect from IDF munitions…
I wonder if they can determine direction?

The U.S. has collected “high confidence” signals intelligence showing that the explosion at a Gaza hospital compound on Tuesday was caused by the militant group Palestinian Islamic Jihad, U.S. officials said, buttressing Israel’s contention that it wasn’t responsible for the blast.
The U.S. assessment drew, in part, on communications intercepts and other intelligence gathered by the U.S., defense officials said.
“Our current assessment, based on analysis of overhead imagery, intercepts and open source information, is that Israel is not responsible for the explosion at the hospital in Gaza,” White House National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said, adding that the U.S. continues to collect information on the incident.

Despite being a hospital, Barzilai Medical Center has been attacked at least four times by rockets fired by terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip. Dr. Gili Givaty, the deputy director of the hospital, explained the first rocket struck a bridge used to connect two main buildings on campus. One rocket hit and severely damaged the center’s child development ward.

As of Thursday, construction crews were still clearing away the rubble from the rocket attacks.
“It is a place that in a day of peace, treats children with disabilities and take[s] care of them and now it’s completely ruined. We don’t know when we can start working there again,” Dr. Givaty explained.
