I'm glad others aren't anonymous

A new family just moved across the street. Haven't had a chance to meet them yet, but thanks to the internet, I was able to see within a matter of "literally" 5 minutes, the following:
- Their names based on county public real estate records
- Searched their names and found:
- Their LinkedIn, so I know who they work for, when they went to college, etc. Therefore I generally know their age.
- Their wedding website, so I know how they met, how they got engaged, etc.
- Their public instagram, so now I know their kids names, birthdates (they posted about this)
- Using whitepages I found their previous house, when it sold (last week), as well as pictures of it inside
I know, you're going to say I'm a stalker, but once I saw their names update on the county records, it's crazy how much information was available within a few minutes.
Now, to act surprised when they tell me their names and how many kids they have... LOL

Can they use similar methods to find out similarly detailed information about you, too?
Not really.
Name, sure. Public records. But I'm not on LinkedIn, don't have a wedding website, don't have a public instagram, heck if you search for my name exactly I'm not found (I haven't looked beyond Google page one, though)

I remember the good old days, just wandering over, saying “Welcome to the neighborhood”, and getting most of that info.
