My bike. Full carbon fiber frame, handlebars, seat post, wheels, pedals, most of the SRAM Red group set, (Force Rear Derailuer because I couldn't afford the Red at the time lol) Brakes are from a different company that offered a lighter alternative to Red brakes at half the cost)
Man this is getting my excitement up to go riding...

Really nice looking bike! Some observations:
- The saddle seems to be rather low compared to the handlebar. Also, the stem looks relatively short. Looks like an "endurance bike" kind of setup, correct?
- what kind of cassette do you have at the back? Is that an 11-28? This also seems to be a short-cage derailleur, right?
- I like the semi-internal cable routing. Best of both worlds.
- That drivetrain is really filthy right now I'd even consider to replace the chain.
-
Endurance, yes. Had a professional fitting done after I built it. It fits me perfectly. Have done many century rides on this bike.
I'll have to check but, 11-28 sounds right.
Yes, filthy. The chain is actually pretty new as I broke the ultra lightweight chain I had on a 55 mile ride one day. It was the second time Mrs. Mark had to come rescue me.
Need to degrease and relube.

Just got back from a shortish ride - my computer isn't linking to Strava for some reason, but went for 55mins, and did 15 miles, so not quite as nippy as Klaus - of course, my ride was uphill both ways.
Cycling when I should be working is even more fun than just cycling, but now I feel guilty so I need to work later.

Not doing much; mostly reading and sleeping. Still not feeling very well. Not deathly sick, but bleah. Proud to be the TNCR Sloth.
Remember sloths are cute. We're all sloth-ey these days but only some of us are cute.

Ran 10k (6 miles) but really miss the gym as I liked to do weights a couple of times a week. I was working up to 20x225lbs - though on a Smith machine so a bit of a cheat. Also, at my age, I can't bring weights fully to my chest - even with an empty bar. I don't have flexibility I had back in the day. With a 2 month layoff, I'll need to be gentle. At home, I'm doing more stretching and core - but not enough.

I'm mad at myself. I got blisters, so I did have to stop between sets. But, this is what I did today. About 10-15 sets; basically 30 minutes of jump-rope.
Interestingly, the spots in between the blue lines are not me working out; I was just walking around, trying to walk off my blisters.
FWIW, I run about 5-6 miles, too, when I do. But I'm very slow. 11-12 minute miles. More of a jog, I guess. I'm just not fast anymore.

Yes, I think it's quite nice to go for a ride in the middle of a work day, when the weather is nice.
What kind of terrain do you have around your place?
Care to share some photos of your ride? I'll post some of mine after a little cleaning session
There's a nice ride around a lake which I do fairly frequently - it's not particularly hilly. I'll see if I can take some photos next time, It's lovely on a nice day, but they're forecasting rain tomorrow.
-
@Aqua-Letifer nice stats!!! Does your dad still run 10 miles everyday? FWIW I’ve also shifted to a jog pace.
-
@89th Eh I'm still working up to better ones.
And no, unfortunately he can't. He's had a series of surgeries on his neck. But he still does 3 at the gym and still refs soccer games down in FL.

My bike. I have a second set of wheels with gravel tires.
It's not easy to find decent road bikes for kids. This is what I came up with.
Son #2s bike. Bought it used for little money. 26 inch wheels. Ultegra 3x9 groupset.
Daughter with her bike on a trip we made today. 24 inch wheels. 1x9 Microshift groupset.
It looks tiny but today her max speed was over 50 km/h.
