Sheesh, Klaus! Between those type of numbers and all the flattening the curve you’ve been doing, your cardio is incredible!

Any progress? I know little about golf, but there's some kind of scoring, no?

        Very good stats Klaus!

I'm putting my bike on up on the rack today. Need to clean, lube and adjust.

Might take a small ride today...

Please post a photo! Can't remember what your bike looked like.

Well, but I don't think there's a reason to not ride alone.

Actually, I had a tail sucker today for 10min or so. I coughed extra loud, but to no avail.

                @Klaus Yes, there is scoring.
                And, yes, there is progress.
Roughly, positive progress on the even days and negative progress on the odd days.

                  Nice biking!

Nearly every day I go on a 3-4 mile jog with my daughter. Running stroller and all. Usually along a path near a creek. I enjoy the time with her. She looks for owls and squirrels and really really enjoys throwing small rocks into the creek.

My bike. Full carbon fiber frame, handlebars, seat post, wheels, pedals, most of the SRAM Red group set, (Force Rear Derailuer because I couldn't afford the Red at the time lol) Brakes are from a different company that offered a lighter alternative to Red brakes at half the cost)

Man this is getting my excitement up to go riding...

Really nice looking bike! Some observations:

                      • The saddle seems to be rather low compared to the handlebar. Also, the stem looks relatively short. Looks like an "endurance bike" kind of setup, correct?
                      • what kind of cassette do you have at the back? Is that an 11-28? This also seems to be a short-cage derailleur, right?
                      • I like the semi-internal cable routing. Best of both worlds.
                      • That drivetrain is really filthy right now 🙂 I'd even consider to replace the chain.

Endurance, yes. Had a professional fitting done after I built it. It fits me perfectly. Have done many century rides on this bike.

I'll have to check but, 11-28 sounds right.

Yes, filthy. The chain is actually pretty new as I broke the ultra lightweight chain I had on a 55 mile ride one day. It was the second time Mrs. Mark had to come rescue me.

                        Need to degrease and relube.

And in the front that looks like a 50-34. Looks ideal for flat and moderately hilly terrain. Over here, there's lots of hills, hence I've chosen 50-34 with an 11-34 cassette.

Those break pads look unusual. What material is it?

                            cork

The carbon fiber rims require it.

Just got back from a shortish ride - my computer isn't linking to Strava for some reason, but went for 55mins, and did 15 miles, so not quite as nippy as Klaus - of course, my ride was uphill both ways.

Cycling when I should be working is even more fun than just cycling, but now I feel guilty so I need to work later.

                              I was only joking

Yes, I think it's quite nice to go for a ride in the middle of a work day, when the weather is nice.

What kind of terrain do you have around your place?

Care to share some photos of your ride? I'll post some of mine after a little cleaning session 🙂

Ran 10k (6 miles) but really miss the gym as I liked to do weights a couple of times a week. I was working up to 20x225lbs - though on a Smith machine so a bit of a cheat. Also, at my age, I can't bring weights fully to my chest - even with an empty bar. I don't have flexibility I had back in the day. With a 2 month layoff, I'll need to be gentle. At home, I'm doing more stretching and core - but not enough.

A 10k run is pretty tough. At what speed do you run?
