I drove the par 4 #9 green today, I think it was the first time I even tried
They had the tees way up near the ladies tees, it was maybe 215 carry over the water, so no big deal, but it was a nice change.I have no idea what you said here.
If you're telling us about a good thing you did, then heartiest congratulations! If this was a bad thing, then you have my deepest sympathies. -
Wow, Rich that's amazing. I thought I was doing really well at about half that distance on a bike.
-
Rich, running 3000 miles is insane! Wow.
George, I never knew you took walking so seriously. Respect!
My 2020 ride summary so far:
Power curve comparison first half of the year (light color) compared to second half (darker color).
Doesn't look so different, but it's quite a difference.

Crossed over 3,000 miles running this year a few days ago. Definitely wasn't a plan or goal, but just pretty consistently getting out there.
Probably the best shape I'll ever be in.....and no fukkin races, lol.
Still having a good time.
Wow, great job. Based on your estimate mile and 10k time the marathon estimate is way off. You could get near 3 hours and certainly qualify for Boston.
Youโve put in the miles for a marathon for sure.

My runs have been hampered by a trick knee and some kind of breathing issue. I have some issues walking down stairs on occasion. My mileage this year will likely end up around 1500 miles. I need to dedicate more time to getting the knee back in shape. Lungs seem to not work as well as they did 3 years ago when I could still run a sub 7:00 mile. That's long gone - fatigue very quickly. I'm scheduled for a lung function test in January.

THat's great, Rich.
Here's me. All walking.

You can see where I quit the gym in March.
I'm really looking forward to getting back into that routine and getting my weight back up.

@jon-nyc you do about 5 miles per workout, then? That's what I do, but it's not every day for me. I try to do every other day.
Yep. A little less now that I don't do them alone. I used to be religious about getting them in every day, if the weather sucked I'd go to the local mall and walk if I had to. I don't do that now of course.

My sleep has improved during Covid, mostly because I usually get an hour or hour and a half nap in every day.
At night I'm still in the 4 to 4.5 range though.
-
You guys are all doing great!!! Keep it up!!!
-
I'll post a graph of my waistline which will challenge any of your exercise charts.

650 calories per mile? That sounds off by a factor of five or so.
A quite impressive year summary, though.

You loose weight by not going? Whatโs the logic? Lost muscle mass?

I try to do HIIT sprinting a few times each week.
Anything lengthy like running or cycling for miles just gets boring. Skipping & punch bag are also dull but good work outs.Otherwise my daily go-to are suburi, juggling and planks, plus 20 flights of stairs.
Here's hoping for a replacement fitbit Christmas pressy as I find them useful, especially for this chocoholic
