Just saw that on TV. No way. I already paid to have the capability in the car. Not going to pay to use it.
My Nissan has a monthly subscription option to use remote start, accident monitoring, etc. Not doing it.

I would buy another brand that didn’t attempt that model.
I have heated and cooled seats, remote start, etc. I’m not going to give it up and I’m not going to pay monthly for it either.

Are the cooled seats that good?
Oh, and heated is a necessity. Heated steering wheel is nice too.

Remote start is important (on hot and cold days) to me. Heated seats are nice, my wife likes them more than I do. I have been in car with ventilated seats and enjoy it on hot days for sure.

Easiest way to be more comfortable than rich people in their cars and planes, is to relax at home. Words to live by.

From what I understand, you can either choose to just buy heated seats, and then there's no subscription.
You only get the option to subscribe if you don't pay for heated seats but then want heated seats anyway.
Sounds like a fair deal to me.

Sounds like a carny-barker deal to me! Step right up, suckas! This is the first I've heard of a subscription for car amenities! Hats off to Mik and Jon!
I hate being cold more than anything on earth, and I would freeze to death before I paid a subscription for their lousy seats. Greedy barstids.

It only gives you additional options. For free. Having options always has a positive value, economists say.

I'm just surprised that something as basic as heated seats is even an option on a car like BMW.
I may be missing it, but heated seats are standard on the A4.

I managed to scrape by for over 40 years without heated car seats. Now suddenly, they're a necessity. Even my cheapo Subaru has them.

In the US.
If you order a BMW or an Audi over here, the base model has basically nothing. You are lucky if it features 4 wheels.

I don't have heated seats in my Cadillac.
Don't worry about me, I'm ok
The important thing is that it is a domestic car, mostly

My mechanic told me this is all a bunch of false information. Not sure what to make of it. I trust him for sure. He specializes in repairing and upgrading BMWs.

Not entirely false. It is happening in South Korea but not in the US market and BMW has no plans to bring it here. Yet. lol
