The protesters did not enter the building, so it's somewhat better than some of the incidents with Cruz, etc.

But I still don't like it. I don't like people protesting at people's homes, doxxing the addresses of their church or their children's schools. The next step is physical.

TG said the other day that people are born with innate common decency. To that, I say Hah! to her face.

It seems like these are stepping stones on the road to the hell of political violence, which in itself will eventually lead to less freedom rather than more.

These protesters are awful, they're so convinced that they're in the right and that the opposition are evil.

Yep. The ends justify the means is a very slippery slope.

They're also just sore losers. Maybe I'm being simplistic, but it often seems those (like me) who generally lean on the conservative side of things handle rulings they don't like with more maturity and civility.

I think the real issue is we’re more discerning with our own tribe. You’re more willing to think of the fringe on your own side as fringe while the fringe on the other side seems representative.

Is the former President of the USA considered to be 'fringe'?

I'm going out on a limb, here, but I'd humbly suggest that maturity and civility weren't exactly two of his key strengths.

Ok I almost referenced the MAGA sore losers but figured it was obvious that it was a (noteworthy, I guess) anomaly. Don't really see far/right folks blocking traffic, or yelling at judges in restaurants, or rioting/looting, or flooding the streets when a criminal is killed after resisting arrest.

How many people protested at the steakhouse?

Because you didn't dismiss that as unimportant.

                                    I was only joking

That's because the sheer numbers of leftist protests dwarf those put on by the right.

Sure, that's a fair point. I think the angry left are a real problem, and I don't want anything to do with them.

However, the leftist protest wasn't started by the actual President of the United States.

So, it's not quite as straightforward as you're claiming. If you honestly don't think that what Trump did after losing the election in an attempt to undermine an election result isn't serious, then I don't know what to say.

Now, you can argue that it was incompetent, blundering, stupid. But imagine if he wasn't such a moron....

                                          No, it wasn't.

It was started, or incited, but the Majority Leader of the Senate.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
