Highland park is a very affluent suburb. It’s about 20 to 30 miles north of Chicago.

I wish they’d figure out the race of the shooter already so we’d know if we’re going to talk about this for the next 10 days or of we’ll move on to something else by Wednesday.

Alleged shooter lived in Highwood, the suburb directly north of Highland Park. His parents' residence is in Highland Park.
I really hope this guy is captured alive.

Seems to me there's there's a million reasons this can happen. We've blamed it on Muslims, white supremacists, computer gamers, gun owners, and now apparently it's trans folk.
Maybe pointing the finger at some group every time there's a tragedy like this isn't the best response?
At the very least, blaming a group we don't like doesn't seem to have improved things much as far as I can tell.
