Wow. Let the riots begin.
It will be interesting to see what BLM's reaction is.
And the gun ruling a day earlier. I question the timing, LOL.
Anyone denied a cc permit under the ny law would still have to reapply so the timing doesn’t really matter.

What are the rules regarding open carry?

I think the fact that it leaked in May will help blunt the reaction. Some of steam has been released already.

Yeah exactly what I was telling my wife earlier. Your phrasing is even better.

Voted to kill women? Is he referring to the justices who voted to keep abortion legal, then?

LOL
"Planned Parenthood should be thrilled, they'll be able to focus on providing all of that non-abortion medical care they constantly remind us about."

Also AOC: "Votes are not enough. We need to get into the streets."
Democracy? LOLGF.

Haha WTF does she think will happen?
If anything, she (congress) has the power to enact legislation if they really want to change the laws. You know, being part of the LEGISLATIVE branch?
SCOTUS job was to determine if previous rulings were upheld or overturned, and they did their job here.
Guess what, for almost 50 years the pro-life side didn't like the ruling and held annual rallys/protests... time for the pro-choice side to do that for a few decades. It's all part of the system.

BTW, nothing about abortion has changed in New York.

Yesterdays ruling wasn’t all that broad. It basically extended Heller outside the home. Time place and manner restrictions on weapons are still allowed. You just can put a subjective test on the permitting process (e.g “show me why you need this”).
Only 6 states are effected in practice.

Yep. 43 states are shall issue. Vermont is just a free for all.
6 states and DC are May issue.

This makes me curious. What are the mortality rates from abortion? I mean per 1000?

Nothing has changed in any state. That’s where the ridiculousness of this comes through.
By the way, this is all in regard to a state law that restricts abortion at 15 weeks. France restricts abortion at 12 weeks…

Yeah, I commented on that back when the leak occurred.
Justin Castreaux tweeted about this today, while ignoring the fact that 4 provinces/territories prohibit abortion after 12 weeks.
However, overturning Roe opens the door for individual states to make laws that are far, far more restrictive.
I believe Missouri now has such a law.
