I had kids in my house. I still have grandkids. My guns are safe. And I can have one in my hand and ready to rock before you can count to 10.

I'm all for the 2nd Amendment, but I am also concerned about the current gun fetish movement. Things are being taken to extremes on both sides.

I don't think you'd see quite as much of the tacticool stuff, if people were pushing anti-gun laws so much. Some of this stuff is just a mild form of rebellion.

I do not have it for "middle of the night" defense, on purpose. I have it more for "if societal shit hits the fan" defense. Would I regret that if an intruder invades my home? Of course, but we moved to a very safe neighborhood on purpose, too.
