Love how he is vaping (and even driving) during the testimony. I didn't catch it all... who is this dude and why is he driving during this? LOL

He's the doorman. And I didn't catch why the testimony was recorded remotely; I think he's just not available to be there in person is all.

      Please love yourself.

I mentioned the psychologist to D2 (who's done some legal work) and she watched the testimony.

We've all dated an Amber at one time or another.

There's any number of YouTube channels that are dealing with this trial.

One of them is "Rekieta Law." He describes himself as a "small town lawyer in central Minnesoooota."

Looking at his YouTube feed, it looks like he's been live-blogging the trial - every day for at least 8 hours a day.

                  Link to video

So, you gotta wonder..."You're a small firm in central Minnesooota. How's your practice doing these days?"

He may, or may not be a good lawyer, but if you have the ability to liveblog for all this time, I worry for your business.

This the tawdriest thing I've seen in a long time.

But what's funny is how Amber Heard is presenting herself to the court, jury and public.

This is pretty much the way she appeared every day during plaintiff's case. Prim, proper, contained and totally in control.

                      Screen Shot 2022-05-04 at 3.06.49 PM.png

Yesterday, Depp's team rested. This morning was taken up by a forensic psychologist testifying about her evaluations of Heard.

This afternoon, Heard took the stand, and this is how she looks.

                      LOL.

There is a clear performative aspect with those two even while they're not on the stand. Depp was smirking and giggling and whispering the whole time his case was being presented. I think that is mostly for effect, for the jury. And of course for the viewing public, who he would like to win over maybe more than the jury, in support of his career.

                        Education is extremely important.

                          Mrs Phibes thinks he’s lovely.

Which is slightly aggravating. I’d never get away with the shit he pulls.

Sentiment seems to be against her, at the moment. However, public sentiment usually has little to do with the law.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him lose.

OTOH, I really wonder if this is about the money, rather than restoring his reputation. Even if he loses in court, winning in the court of public opinion might be enough to resurrect his career.

I don't think so. At least not mostly. What he's been laughing at has been legitimately very funny.

I watched some videos of some hostage negotiators analyze both Depp and Heard. To their credit, they admitted to speculating, but basically, Heard is doing everything someone would do if they knew they were being watched and wanted to be seen in a favorable light. For Depp, it's merely most of the time. Some of his reactions really didn't do him any favors from a performative aspect, which suggests it's more likely those reactions were honest.

                                  Please love yourself.

There is a clear performative aspect with those two even while they're not on the stand. Depp was smirking and giggling and whispering the whole time his case was being presented. I think that is mostly for effect, for the jury. And of course for the viewing public, who he would like to win over maybe more than the jury, in support of his career.

The real tragedy for Depp in all this is that now that Heard has exposed him as an abuser, no woman will ever touch him again.

                                        Education is extremely important.

                                          Except for Mrs. Phibes, apparently.
