Here's what might help Putin out of office. Not sure where he's getting the cash for this expansion.

The average age of a Ukraine soldier is in the forties. Putin is playing a war of attrition, using bodies instead of equipment.
Biden straddled the fence too long. Not the right equipment, not enough equipment, too many restrictions on use.
Almost as if he was fighting a proxy war, trying to simply bleed the Russians.

Another diplomatic failure for Russia:

Death from above. That was some unit's motto.
"World War II. 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment. 101 Airborne Div in 1942. I have also seen it attributed to the 82nd and their is currently an Air Force Bomber unit that uses it in Latin."
I saw another story showing how the Russians are protecting their trenches (trenches!) with overhead metal caging to make it difficult for FPV drones to attack there.

Apparently the NORK shells are substandard. Awww....

Putin's playing the long game. The US, as usual, is not.
Seems to be a missed point by many, especially since 2000. I’ll say it just once, the Russian concept of time is more akin to that of the North American Indian notion of time than a Western. Some will argue neither have any concept of time. It’s been explained many times and not just starting with G. F. Kennan. The only American Sect’y of State who really understood that was George P. Schultz.
