What's the epidemiological lesson if we don't see a spike? It seems silly to wait for data when we already think we know good vs bad practice.

    Education is extremely important.

Nothing. If no spike, it'll mean mostly that more protesters than not were wearing masks.

        Please love yourself.

Very few protesters are 80+ years of age. However if such a protester existed, I would be thrilled to see a long form CNN story written about their inspiring story of courage. Maybe RBG can make an appearance.

How about she tosses a Molotov cocktail at a capitol police vehicle? I’d pay to see that.

Well, @Loki now we have the Associated Press writing about
ā€œMassive U.S. Protests Raise Fears Of New Coronavirus Outbreaksā€,
and it’s carried by the Huffington Post:

                https://www.huffpost.com/entry/protests-raise-fears-coronavirus-outbreaks_n_5ed3966bc5b6535fe4b8b3ca

ā€œHealth experts fear that silent carriers of the virus who have no symptoms could unwittingly infect others at protests where people are packed cheek to jowl, many without masks.ā€

Now that we’ve got this one covered, maybe you can go find another topic on which to blame the press of bias. šŸ˜‰

Oh, shame on Trumpā€˜s CDC for not publishing any public health guidelines on how to safely protest/riot during the COVID-19 pandemic. šŸ‘æ

It does seem inconsistent to ban beach going but be fine with the protests, from a virus-standpoint. This pretty much means the lockdowns are over. I guess we will know in 3 weeks of outdoor mass gatherings of young people with most wearing masks is ok virus-wise. If this is ok, outdoor concerts and sporting events should be ok, no?

By ā€œoverā€ I mean ā€œno longer have popular support among most peopleā€, with various and sundry reasons given.

In a powerful show of solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, COVID-19 has vowed not to infect anyone protesting inequality.

The official COVID-19 account tweeted out, "In solidarity with those protesting inequality, I hereby vow not to infect anyone at BLM rallies."

"We need to take a moment to pause and hear what these people are saying," the virus said in a statement. "All infectious activities will be put on hiatus until Republicans start protesting lockdowns or second amendment issues -- then we will resume."

"It wouldn't be fair for us to continue business as usual when liberals want to protest."

The virus vowed to stay put in infected individuals, lying dormant until the pandemic became convenient for the media to cover once again.

It also posted a black square on its Instagram account.
