Well, @Loki now we have the Associated Press writing about
“Massive U.S. Protests Raise Fears Of New Coronavirus Outbreaks”,
and it’s carried by the Huffington Post:

      https://www.huffpost.com/entry/protests-raise-fears-coronavirus-outbreaks_n_5ed3966bc5b6535fe4b8b3ca

“Health experts fear that silent carriers of the virus who have no symptoms could unwittingly infect others at protests where people are packed cheek to jowl, many without masks.”

Now that we’ve got this one covered, maybe you can go find another topic on which to blame the press of bias. 😉

Oh, shame on Trump‘s CDC for not publishing any public health guidelines on how to safely protest/riot during the COVID-19 pandemic. 👿

Yeah. You found an article. I actually don’t believe you believe it proved your case so why would I?

Well, @Loki , you're in luck, there are more articles:

What's the epidemiological lesson if we don't see a spike? It seems silly to wait for data when we already think we know good vs bad practice.

        Education is extremely important.

Nothing. If no spike, it'll mean mostly that more protesters than not were wearing masks.

Very few protesters are 80+ years of age. However if such a protester existed, I would be thrilled to see a long form CNN story written about their inspiring story of courage. Maybe RBG can make an appearance.

How about she tosses a Molotov cocktail at a capitol police vehicle? I’d pay to see that.

It does seem inconsistent to ban beach going but be fine with the protests, from a virus-standpoint. This pretty much means the lockdowns are over. I guess we will know in 3 weeks of outdoor mass gatherings of young people with most wearing masks is ok virus-wise. If this is ok, outdoor concerts and sporting events should be ok, no?

By “over” I mean “no longer have popular support among most people”, with various and sundry reasons given.
