It was an absurd mouth-noise meant to demonstrate the noise maker's virtue which doesn't track back to anything rational, except maybe the self-interest of the restaurant owner in their quest to be accepted by the mob.

To even have to ask this question is quite shocking but it’s definitely a tribe that benefits from anarchy.

If the father said the protest would be worth the spread of Covid and loss of lives including potentially his family that would be impressive.

The cleanup efforts are good to see, I saw one black father bring his two kids to help clean up, saying this is the example he wanted to show, not the rioters’ example.
