But a gay black man, represented by two black women, lost a case presided by an old white man?

What was the racial makeup of the jury?

Racial makeup? Is that like blackface?

        Education is extremely important.

Do you think he'll be disappointed and angry with the verdict?

To be fair, he has more name recognition now. That was an end goal?

Not sure if "fair" is the right word, but Mrs. George commented that the motivation was publicity, of which there is no such thing as "bad."

If he goes to prison (and I doubt he will), perhaps his fame will give him some juice.

At least that is some good news. Pretend crimes should have real consequences. Sadly, too often real crimes have pretend consequences.

That is more profound than you think.

                      No question.

But, interestingly, the Orange Man gets called out on it time and again, and Lyin' Amtrak Joe gets a pass.

(he lied about his Amtrak miles again, yesterday)

I'm no fan of Biden, or of the US media's treatment of him, however lying with some stupid anecdote about Amtrak miles, and about having the Presidential election stolen from him really aren't the same thing.

I know, I know, you can say we're just arguing about price. Except we really aren't.

                          Of course they're not.

Neither is his law school prowess, the number of degrees he got, travels with Mandela, or a hundred other things.

But all of them speak to either character or soundness of mind. I'll grant you that Trump lacked the former. Biden lacks them both.

So... you didn't like the way he operated. Fair enough. There were many times I cringed at something he said or did, as I suspect many conservatives did. I attributed that to the fact that he was a brash New Yorker.

I overlooked that because I was more focused on what he was doing for this country... his policies, not his methods.

I'm doing the same thing with Biden. His policies are not working for this country.

Now, if you'd like to compare policies over character, I'll engage. Otherwise, talk to the hand.

Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on.

Yeah, this is what always happens. Somebody says something about somebody's character, I respond and say look at the state of your fucking guy. Then the follow up is 'never mind about character, look at policies, otherwise shut up'.

If you don't want to talk about character, then don't bring it up in the first place.

If cnn thought he would bring a few extra eyeballs, they would give him a prime-time hour every night.

They have an opening for the 9:00 p.m. time slot. 😬

Anyone heard whether he was taken into custody after the verdict?

Or is he still free pending sentencing?
